Roush-Yates cleans up at Daytona 2015

Roush Yates Engines and FORD Performance made history this month by capturing all four races at Daytona International Speedway including the Rolex 24 with Scott Dixon, Jamie McMurray, Kyle Larson and Tony Kanaan, the NextEra Energy Resources 250 with Tyler Reddick, the Alert Today Florida 300 with Ryan Reed and the Daytona 500 with Joey Logano. The Daytona 500 win marked the 100th Sprint Cup Series win for Roush Yates Engines.

With the win, Joey Logano helped Roush Yates Engines achieve their 100th Sprint Cup Series win. Logano lead a total of 31 laps and the last 10 laps in-route to becoming the 2nd youngest driver to ever win the “Great American Race”. “Roush Yates does a great job for us” said Joey Logano after his win “There is a pretty tough motor in that thing”. The win gave FORD their 14th Daytona 500 victory and is the first time that FORD has ever swept all four events during Speedweeks and the first time since last August that FORD has swept a weekend in NASCAR.

Daytona-2015-2Ryan Reed won his first career Xfinity race on Saturday in his FORD Mustang followed closely by Roush Fenway Racing teammate Chris Buescher. FORD Performance drivers lead a total of 57 laps on Saturday powering their way to a one, two finish and Reed became the 37th different driver to win an Xfinity race with FORD.

Young standout Tyler Reddick showed how stout his FORD F-Series truck powered by Roush Yates Engines was Friday night leading 46 laps and winning his first career Camping World Truck Series race. In all, Brad Keselowski Racing trucks lead 56 of 100 laps and finished the race with a first and fourth place respectively.
